About
We design, build, and run mobile apps for Canadian retail, religious institutions, and municipalities, from our office in Toronto.
A custom mobile app has traditionally meant a quote in the tens of thousands, a six-month timeline, and a developer you have to call every time a price changes. For a café, a mosque, or a town of four thousand people, that has never been realistic.
So the same organizations end up scattered across a website nobody updates, a Facebook page most people don't see, and a payment link that belongs to someone else. LocalGovy exists to close that gap: a genuinely branded app, built on a foundation we've already tested and hardened, for $150 a month.
We're early. We're taking on a small number of founding partners in Ontario — organizations that get a fully built app, hands-on support, and a voice in how the product develops. In return we ask for feedback and permission to use the work as a reference.
We do the design, the build, the app store submissions, and the maintenance afterwards. You get a dashboard and a person to email. There's no build fee, and you don't pay until your app is live.
Every app runs on your real menu, service times, or departments from day one, not placeholder content. That's what makes it genuinely yours, and it's how we get every app approved and published under your own name.
Ordering, bookings, promotions, and loyalty running through your own checkout, for Canadian shops, restaurants, and dispensaries.
Prayer and service times, giving, events, and livestreams, with a matching website, for mosques, temples, churches, and gurdwaras.
News and emergency alerts, events, polls, a business directory, and a 24/7 assistant for towns, cities, and townships.
